Future Card Buddyfight X Anime to Air in Singapore in May

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Anime premieres on April 1, streams on YouTube with English subtitles on same day, English dub 2 weeks later

Bushiroad announced on Wednesday that Singaporean television channel Okto will begin airing the new Future Card Buddyfight X (Future Card Buddyfight Battsu) television anime on May 14 at 10:00 a.m., and it will air new episodes weekly in the same time slot.

The new show will premiere in Japan on April 1. The series will stream on YouTube with English-subtitles worldwide except in Japan on the same day at 8:30 a.m., and the English-dubbed episodes will begin streaming on YouTube on April 15.

The anime will feature a new character named Kanata Ōzora, a mysterious boy who plays soccer, rumored to be an undefeated fighter. He will have a buddy monster named Atora. The first episode will feature the appearance of the Demon Lord Dragon Battsu, as well as a man hinted to be Battsu's buddy.

The first series based on Bushiroad's card game premiered in January 2014, and episodes streamed with an English dub on the official Future Card Buddyfight YouTube channel shortly after airing in Japan. The YouTube channel is still streaming all 64 episodes of the first series, as well as the first 25 episodes of the second series, with an English dub.

However, from the second series' episode 26 onward the stream switched to Japanese audio with English subtitles. Future Card Buddyfight Triple D, the third television anime series, premiered last April, and is streaming on the YouTube channel with English subtitles as it airs in Japan.
