Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!'s cast, staff return for anime film

The official website for the Prisma Illya anime series began streaming on Saturday the first promotional video for Gekijōban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Sekka no Chikai (Movie Version Fate/kaleid liner Prisma ☆ Illya: Oath Under the Snow), the franchise's upcoming anime film. The video reveals that the anime film will premiere in Japan this summer.

The video debuted at an event at Kadokawa's booth at AnimeJapan on Saturday. Voice actors Noriaki Sugiyama (voice of Shirō Emiya) and Mai Kadowaki (Illyasviel von Einzbern) attended the event. The first advance tickets for the film, which feature the below visual that debuted in February, also went on sale at AnimeJapan. The advance tickets come with a clear file with the same image.

The staff unveiled the first teaser visual in September:

The television anime's main cast, including Sugiyama, Kadowaki, and Kaori Nazuka (voice of Miyu Edelfelt), are reprising their roles in the film. Shin Oonuma (No-Rin, WATAMOTE) is returning to direct at SILVER LINK, and Hayato Kaneko (Dusk maiden of Amnesia, No-Rin) is again serving as producer.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei!!, the fourth television anime based on Hiroshi Hiroyama's Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya manga, ended in September with the film's announcement. The first television anime premiered in 2013, followed by the second in 2014 and the third in 2015. Crunchyroll streamed all four series as they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the first three series for home video release in North America.
