Historical game launches under title Nightshade

D3 Publisher and Red Entertainment's Hyakka Hyakurō: Sengoku Ninpōchō game for female players launched for PC via Steam on Wednesday under the title Nightshade. The Steam version has English subtitles. A soundtrack is also available.

The game is fully voiced in Japanese and features two endings for each of the five main male characters. The story takes place after the end of the Sengoku Period, in a unified Japan. The protagonist Enju is the daughter of the head of the Kōga ninja clan and is training to be a ninja in her own right. On her first mission, she is caught in a dark conspiracy.

D3 Publisher announced the game alongside its otome game brand "D3P Otomebu" in 2015 and released the game for PlayStation Vita in Japan in February 2016. Red Entertainment developed the game. Teita and Sengoku Ninja designed the characters.
