Video game news website Famitsu revealed on Tuesday that Spike Chunsoft is developing a new "survival RPG" titled Zanki Zero for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The team working on the game previously developed the Danganronpa series, and includes Yoshinori Terasawa and Takayuki Sugawara, among others.
The game will tell the story of eight survivors who live in a ruined, desolate land. Famitsu will reveal more information in its magazine on Thursday.
Spike Chunsoft released the first Danganronpa game for the PSP in Japan in 2010. The game inspired a television anime series that premiered in July 2013, and several sequel games and ports. NIS America will release the latest game, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki), in North America and Europe this September on PS Vita and PS4.
