The organizers of Texas anime convention A-Kon announced on Monday that the rock unit OxT will attend this year's convention.
The band is made up of Masayoshi Ōishi and Tom-H@ck, who officially formed as OxT in 2015, though the two previously collaborated on opening theme songs for Ace of Diamond. As OxT, they performed the opening theme songs for Overlord, Prince of Stride: Alternative, and Hand Shakers.
Both artists have also worked separately on anime songs. Masayoshi Ōishi worked on theme songs for Makura no Danshi and Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. Tom-H@ck helped create theme songs for K-ON!, The Qwaser of Stigmata, and Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, among other anime.
A-Kon will be held on June 8 to 11 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
