Nintendo began streaming a Nintendo Direct presentation for its upcoming fighting game ARMS on Wednesday. The video introduces three new fighters — Kid Cobra, Byte & Barq, Twintelle — and previews ARM attributes, different versus modes, and online multiplayer. At about 20:07, the presentation switches to a preview of Splatoon 2.
With previously announced characters Spring Man, Mechanica, Ninjara, Master Mummy, Ribbon Girl, Min Min, and Helix, the game has 10 playable fighters. Nintendo revealed plans to add more characters, ARMS, and stages after the game launches.
Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel began streaming videos for all 10 fighters.

The game will launch for Nintendo Switch on June 16. Nintendo will hold an online demo event on May 26, 27, and 28 and June 2, 3, and 4. The May 26 and June 2 dates will be North America only.
Producer Kosuke Yabuki describes ARMS as "a fighting sports game that uses extendable arms for battle." Players use the motion sensing features of the Joy-Con controllers to control the fighters and their attacks.
