The Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club anime premiered in Japan on January 6, and aired its 12th episode on March 24. The anime's 13th episode is indefinitely delayed.

The story begins with Hiromi Maiharu, a girl who moved from Nagasaki to Kamakura. On the way to the ceremony for the first day, she meets Tomoe Akitsuki, and Tomoe helps her train to be better at bicycling.

Susumu Kudo (Mardock Scramble: The First Compression, Dear Boys) directed the anime at J.C. Staff and ACGT, and Kurasumi Sunayama (Bakuon!!, scripts on Yowamushi Pedal) wrote the script. Ryoichi Oki (Potemayo, Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise) was both the character designer and chief animation director. Chikako Shibata (Honey and Clover, Toradora!) was credited for background art, while Tomonori Kuroda (A Certain Scientific Railgun, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) was the art director. Rumiko Suzuki (Gakkyū-ō Yamazaki) was in charge of color design. Yutaka Kurosawa (Golden Time, Love Stage!!) was director of photography. AŌP performed the opening theme song "Jitensha ni Hana wa Mau" (Flower Dances With Bike), and Ikasan performed the ending theme song "Nij Yume Road" (Rainbow Dream Road).
