MCM London Schedule and Security Announcement

The MCM London Comic Con will take place from Friday May 26 to Sunday May 28. The event is at London's ExCel Centre, and a schedule has been put on the website here. See below for the panel line-up.

The event has also posted a security announcement here following this week's terror attack in Manchester:

Visitors attending this weekend (26-28 May) will be subject to increased security checks and therefore we anticipate longer queue times than normal. Please allow extra time to travel to the venue and also accessing the event.

For those attending in Cosplay, we ask that you consider your outfit while travelling to and from ExCeL London and advise you to check the Cosplay rules. Any questions, please email cosplay@mcmexpo.net.

We also advise cosplayers where replica weapons are part of their costume to ensure they conform to the rules and relevant laws, security will be enforcing rules to ensure visitor safety.

The line-up on the website is as follows:

- Friday

12 noon - All the Anime panel (Silver Theatre)

12 noon - Power Rangers group (Austin St John, Karan Ashley, David Yost, Walter Jones) (Gold Theatre)

Saturday

2 p.m. - Anime Guests of Honour (Platinum Theatre) - Tatsuma Minamikawa (director of Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry, pictured above) and Yōhei Itō (producer of A Silent Voice). They will discuss their careers and the film Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry. The guests will also have signing sessions at the MCM Signing Area in the South Hall (Saturday 3.15 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. and Sunday 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.)

3 p.m. - Cosplay Masquerade UK WICS & ICL Qualifiers (Gold Theatre)

Sunday

11 a.m. - All the Anime panel (Silver Theatre)

2 p.m. - Power Rangers group (Austin St John, Karan Ashley, David Yost, Walter Jones) (MyM Buzz)

3 p.m. - Cosplay Masquerade UK solo ICL Qualifier (Gold Theatre)

In the PopAsia Theatre, there will be the following screenings -

Friday - Amagami SS 1 (11 a.m), Amagami SS 2 (11.30 a.m.), Amagami SS 5 (6 p.m.). Amagami SS (6.30 p.m.)

Saturday - Little Busters! 1 (10 a.m.). Little Busters! 2 (10.30 a.m.)

Sunday - God Eater 1 (10 a.m.), God Eater (10.30 a.m.)

There will be an AllTheAnime stand in the South Hall, including the Crunchyroll booth. The stand will also have demonstrations of a 'Smart Tachikoma' toy by Cerevo.
