Shun Numa's Samon the Summoner Manga Ends on Monday

Manga's 10th volume slated for August 4

This year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump is publishing the final chapter of Shun Numa's Samon the Summoner (Samon-kun wa Summoner) manga on Monday. The manga's 10th and final compiled book volume is slated for August 4. The fourth volume of the new Jump Giga magazine will publish a spinoff chapter of the manga in July.

Weekly Shonen Jump's official English website for the manga describes the story:

Sakura Teshigawara, known as the ultimate "good person"and pure as an angel, meets Shosuke Samon, a new transfer student to her class who has a hobby of summoning demons.

It all sounded like a joke, but later she finds out he was a real summoner!

This summoner is the ultimate cynic who hates good-willed people and loves watching "greedy people who get corrupted after giving in to the demon's temptations."

What will become of Samon's target, Teshigawara?!

Numa launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2015. Shueisha published the manga's ninth compiled book volume (seen right) on May 2. Viz Media published the first three chapters of the manga in its digital English version of Weekly Shonen Jump as part of its "Jump Start" initiative.

Shueisha previously published Numa's three-chapter Moromono no Jijō manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014.
