The July issue of Bushiroad's Monthly Bushiroad magazine revealed the Granadia Saga smartphone game and launched a manga adaptation on June 8.
Shinnosuke Hino (character designer for Spectral Force, Dragon Force, character illustrator for Guilty Gear XX) is the main character designer for the game. Takumi Miyajima (Tales of the Abyss, script for Fate/Zero anime) is in charge of the game's world, and he is the main scenario writer.
The first half of the game's prologue manga debuted in the July issue with Miyajima's story and Ami Sasahara's art. The second half of the prologue manga will debut in the magazine's August issue on July 7.
Sasahara and Miyajima each posted preview images earlier this month of the manga and game, respectively, from the July issue of Monthly Bushiroad.
The fantasy simulation RPG will focus on a conflict between three countries. The game will feature turn-based battles with various classes of characters. Players will be able to participate in large-scale battles with people around Japan through online play. Guild-versus-guild battles will also be possible. The game will feature an adventure mode.
