Japanese dubbed version of Chinese-animated series premieres on July 1

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the Fox Spirit Matchmaker animated series, and also announced on Friday that it is streaming the 13th episode of Interviews with Monster Girls.

Crunchyroll will stream Fox Spirit Matchmaker starting on July 1 at 9:30 a.m. EDT for members worldwide outside of Asia. Crunchyroll describes the show's story:

In a world where Spirits and Humans coexist and can fall in love with each other, many Spirits see their human loved ones die before them due to the Spirits' much longer life expectancy.

Even when that human is reborn, the previous memories of their past life is erased from their memory. However, it is said among Spirits that a certain “service” is spreading. This “service” is provided by the “Fox Spirit Matchmakers” who can revive the lost memories of their former lover.

When a Spirit loses their lover, they can purchase the service of the Fox Spirit Matchmakers to attempt to restore their former lover's memories, and continue their love story together.

This story follows a young Fox Spirit Matchmaker who tries her best to restore lost memories and spread love.

The show is a Chinese-animated adaptation of the Chinese webcomic 狐妖小红娘 by Xiao Xin, serialized by Tencent. Wang Xin directed the series at HAOLINERS Emon, and the show already aired in China. The Japanese dubbed version features sound direction by Takumi Itō, and stars:

Interviews with Monster Girls adapts Petosu's comedy manga of the same name. The anime originally premiered in January, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and Funimation streamed an English dub.

The show originally aired as 12 episodes, but the seventh and final Blu-ray Disc and DVD release in Japan will include an extra unaired episode when it ships on September 27.

The 13th episode on Crunchyroll is available worldwide except Asia.
