Another manga adapting mystery light novel series is ongoing

This year's September issue Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine published the final chapter of Keu Ayamine's Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru: Chō wa Jūichigatsu ni Kieta (A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako's Feet.: Butterfly Vanished in November) manga on Wednesday.

The manga is based on the title story from the fourth novel in the Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru series. The story, which debuted in 2014, was also adapted into the anime's episodes 10 and 11. The manga launched on March 25 before the live-action television series premiered.

Another manga based on the light novel series, simply titled Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru, began in Kadokawa's Young Ace in August 2015 and is ongoing.

The mystery novel series revolves around Shōtarō Tatewaki and Sakurako Kujyō. Shōtarō is a normal high school student with a serious demeanor. Sakurako is an extraordinarily beautiful woman in her mid-20s from a rich family who loves "beautiful bones." The two live in the city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido, and they get involved in various incidents regarding bones.

Author Shiori Ōta and illustrator Tetsuo's published the first book in the mystery light novel series in 2013, and the 11th volume shipped on March 25. The 12-episode television anime adaptation premiered in October 2015, and the live-action television series premiered in April. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired and Sentai Filmworks released the series on home video in North America under the title Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-.

The same issue of Shōnen Ace also published the final chapters of the Tokyo Ravens, Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode 0, Nasakenai Bokura no Irokoi Moyō, and Futari no Derby manga.
