Yomawari: Midnight Shadows Game's 360-Degree Trailer Streamed

Yomawari sequel ships for N. America, Europe this fall

The official Nippon Ichi Software YouTube channel began streaming an interactive "360-degree" video for its upcoming game Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. The video previews the game and follows Haru as she tries to find her lost friend Yui. Users can rotate the angle of the video a full 360 degrees to watch the events unfold from different angles.

Nippon Ichi Software previously streamed a promotional video and a trailer for the game.

Yomawari: Midnight Shadows ships in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on August 24. NIS America will release the game in North America and Europe on October 24 for the PS4, PS Vita and PC via Steam.

NIS America describes the game:

The follow-up to 2016's cult horror hit Yomawari: Night Alone, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows introduces two brand-new girls, Yui and Haru, to the night and the spirits who haunt it. Separated by a mysterious attacker, each girl will explore haunting and bizarre locations, face the terrors of the night, and test their courage and wits to survive and reconnect with one another.

In the original game, players take the role of a little girl who uses a single flashlight to search in the night for her lost sister and dog. The sequel will use the same concept as the first game, but the game's map will be about twice as large.

Nippon Ichi Software developed the first Yomawari game for PS Vita and released it in Japan in October 2015. NIS America released physical and digital editions for the game in North America and Europe last October. The game launched worldwide on PC last October.
