News Love Roma's Toyoda Launches New Manga in September

The September issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine revealed on August 12 that Minoru Toyoda (Love Roma) will launch a new manga titled Kongōji-san wa Mendōkusai (Kongōji is Annoying) in the magazine's next issue on September 12. The manga will have a color opening page.
The manga will feature the return of two characters (seen center in image right) from Toyoda's Watashi ga Sekai o Mamorimasu (I Will Protect the World) series of standalone one-shot manga
Toyoda launched the Watashi ga Sekai o Mamorimasu manga in February 2016, and ended it in June 2016. Toyoda previously drew a similar collection of five one-shot manga collectively titled Catch and Throw in 2011.
Del Rey published all five volumes of Toyoda's Love Roma manga in North America. Toyoda went on to release Tomodachi 100-nin Dekiru kana (I Wonder If I Can Make 100 Friends) in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine and Takewo-chan Mokke Roku in Shogakukan's Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine.
Toyoda began serializing Saikin no Aka-san, his most recent manga, in Shogakukan's Hibana magazine in 2015 after launching the the manga on Twitter in 2014. He ended it in the same year.
