House of the Sun's Taamo Ends Chikyū no Owari wa Koi no Hajimari Manga in October

The October issue of Kodansha's Dessert magazine revealed on Thursday that manga creator Taamo will end her Chikyū no Owari wa Koi no Hajimari (End of the Earth is the Beginning of Love) manga in in two chapters. If there are no breaks, the manga will end in the magazine's December issue on October 24.

The manga centers on Mahiru "Ahiru" Yanase, who has lived her life being compared unfavorably to her twin sister Mayo, and being blamed for everything bad that happens. She has lived life with the belief that if any stroke of fortune that comes her way will come with a corresponding misfortune. While she had wanted to live her high school life in peace, she instead meets and gets to know the handsome but pushy Aoi Satōmi, who takes a liking to her. While she enjoys her relationship with him, she can't help but think that it will bring about some disaster.

Taamo launched the manga in Dessert in November 2014. It was initially announced with a tentative title of "Koi Shitemita kara Wakarunda" (I Know Because I Tried to Love). Kodansha published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on June 13.

Taamo launched her House of the sun. (Taiyō no Ie) manga in 2010 in Dessert magazine, and ended it in January 2015. She then serialized a short spinoff manga from February to March 2015. The original manga won the shōjo category of the 38th Kodansha Awards in 2014. Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga digitally in English.
