PS4, Xbox One version arrives in the West on October 3

The official YouTube channel for CAPCOM's Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen game began streaming a comparison video for the game on Friday. The video compares the game's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions.

The PS4 and Xbox One release will launch in the West on October 3. The game's PS4, Xbox One, and PC release in Japan is slated for October 5.

The YouTube channel had streamed a trailer for the PS4 and Xbox One versions earlier this month.

The Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen expanded and enhanced version of CAPCOM's original Dragon's Dogma game shipped for PS3 and Xbox 360 in April 2013. The PC version debuted in January 2016, but the upcoming release will mark the first time that the game is available for PC in Japan.

Dragon's Dogma Online launched on the PS3, PS4, and PC in August 2015. A season 3 update launched in Japan on August 17. Yumiya Tashiro launched the Dragon's Dogma Revives manga adaptation of the online game in January.

Game director and designer Hideaki Itsuno revealed in January that he plans to announce a new game this year. Itsuno has directed Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, Devil May Cry 4, Dragon's Dogma, and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
