Grasshopper Manufacture Reveals Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Game for Switch

2018 game has Travis Touchdown traveling through 6 indie games from different developers

Grasshopper Manufacture, Marvelous, and Shirogumi unveiled Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, the latest game in Goichi "Suda51" Suda's No More Heroes game series, on Wednesday. The game is slated for release on the Switch in 2018. Nintendo is streaming a trailer for the game.

Suda51 teased in January that he is developing a game for the Switch that features Travis Touchdown. At the time, he noted that the game is "heavily influenced" by pro wrestling, and that he had been discussing ideas for the Switch console with the indie game community at different gaming events in Japan in 2016.

In the game's story, The Bad is out to avenge the murder of her daughter Bad Girl at the hands of Travis Touchdown, but a game console known as the Death Drive Mark II sucks both of them in.

The game will feature collaborations with independent game developers. The game will allow players to explore six different games from the developers. While the game's official website did not reveal the developers and their respective games, the above trailer teases Dennaton Games' Hotline Miami game.

Grasshopper Manufacture released No More Heroes for the Wii in 2007, and later for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, shipped on the Wii in 2010.
