aiseki Mogol Girl Stop-Motion Animated Series Reveals Guest Cast, Premiere Date, Teaser Video

The official website for the aiseki Mogol Girl stop-motion animated series revealed the guest cast, staff, premiere date, and a teaser video on Friday.
The guest cast includes:
- Gamu Iyose
- Shun'ya Ōhira
- Testuya Kakihara
- Yūki Kaji
- Riki Kitazawa
- Setsuji Satō
- Yusuke Shirai
- Nobuo Tobita
- Daisuke Namikawa
- Akira Harada
The series will premiere on October 2 at 25:05 (effectively October 3 at 1:05 a.m.) on Tokyo MX. The series will also air on TV Osaka on October 6, and on TV Aichi on October 7.
Ryōichi Mori (Gigant Shooter Tsukasa, Peeping Life) is directing the series, and is also writing and overseeing the series scripts. Keiji Bessho (gdgd Fairies, Gekijō-ban gdgd Yōseis tte Iu Eiga wa Dō kana…?), Shinsaku Hatta (WATAMOTE, Kamisama Kiss), Shunichi Okabe, and Daisuke koma are credited for planning, and Kenji Akazawa is credited with the original project. Other staff includes composer Yuki Funakoshi (DIGZ MOTION SOUNDS) and character designer Takuma Fujisaki. IKEAnimations is producing the animation.
Ryō Katō will play the character Fuyumi (left in picture above), while Natsuko Hara will play the character Haruko (right). Kato commented that the animation will have "prelay" voice recording, instead of recording dialogue to a finished cut or storyboards, and that it gives the animation a "live" feeling.
The staff describes the anime as both "warm" and "surreal."
The studio's gdgd Fairies surreal CG anime series premiered in 2011, with a second season in 2013. Crunchyroll streamed both series. The series also received a film in September 2014. Crunchyroll also streamed the studio's 2012-2013 Boku no Imōto wa "Ōsaka Okan" series.
