Seven Seas Licenses Original Cutie Honey Manga

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it will release a hardcover omnibus volume of Gō Nagai's Cutie Honey manga under the title Cutie Honey: The Classic Collection. The large-trim book is slated for July 3, 2018.
The classic 1973 manga follows Cutie Honey, an android created by Professor Kisaragi. When he is murdered by an organization seeking the device within her, she seeks revenge. The manga has not previously been released in North America.
Nagai's manga has inspired multiple manga remakes, anime adaptations on television and home video, a live-action film, and a live-action television series. Seven Seas has also licensed the Cutie Honey aGoGo! manga, written by Shinpei Ito with collaboration from Hideaki Anno.
In addition to Cutie Honey, Nagai is known for creating classic manga such as Devilman, Getter Robo, and Mazinger Z, among other titles.
