Odex previously stated negotiations for screening in Southeast Asia were unsuccessful

Southeast Asian film distributor Odex announced on Wednesday that T-Joy will hold a live screening of the "Aqours 2nd Love Live! HAPPY PARTY TRAIN TOUR" concert of Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group in Singapore. The live screening will take place at the GV Grand - Great World City on September 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Odex previously announced that its negotiations for a live and delayed screening of the event for Southeast Asia had been unsuccessful.

The event is the second major concert for the nine-girl Aqours group, which is taking place in three cities. The concert series began at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya on August 5-6. The group then held a concert at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe on August 19-20. The final venue is at the MetLife Dome in Saitama on September 29-30.

Odex live screened the group's first major concert, which took place on February 25 and 26 at the Yokohama Arena.

The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. The anime's second season will premiere in Japan in October.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." Fans chose group's name Aqours by popular vote.

In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" that lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. The project inspired the first television anime season in 2013, and a second season followed in 2014. The Love Live! The School Idol Movie anime film then premiered in June 2015.
