My Neighbor Seki Manga Gets New Chapter in November

This year's November issue of Media Factory's Comic Flapper magazine revealed on Thursday that Takuma Morishige will release a new chapter for his My Neighbor Seki (Tonari no Seki-kun) comedy manga in the December issue on November 4. It will be the first update for the series since the magazine's April issue on March 4. Morishige's latest manga Voiradi: Boku no Suki na Personality (Voice Radio: My Beloved Personality) will take a break for a month to accommodate the chapter.
The original manga revolves around a girl named Yokoi who sits next to a boy only known as “Seki-kun.” During class, Seki-kun continues to not pay attention and instead creates amazingly throrough little distractions, such as a detailed golf course with the course's hole being a dent in his desk, or an entire dramatic war being played out by paper shogi pieces.
Morishige began My Neighbor Seki in 2010, and Vertical is publishing the manga in North America. The tenth and latest compiled volume shipped in Japan on March 23 and the English-language release will follow in North America on January 23, 2018. The manga was nominated in the 5th Manga Taisho Awards in 2012.
