Both manga slated to begin release on November 8

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Wednesday that it has licensed Taamo's Miss Assistant: The Apprentice of Love (Ashi-san) and Mayu Sakai's Merry Bad End manga. The company will begin releasing both manga on November 8.

Miss Assistant: The Apprentice of Love centers on Mutsumi Namikawa, a budding manga creator who for now is working as an assistant for another manga artist. Hurting from breaking up with her boyfriend, burdened by work until late at night, surpassed by her juniors, and now knee-deep in the world of boys-love and doujins, the only thing that keeps Mutsumi going is her love for manga.

Taamo launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine in 2011, and ended it in 2015. Shogakukan published three compiled book volumes for the manga.

Taamo launched her House of the sun. (Taiyō no Ie) manga in 2010 in Dessert magazine, and ended it in January 2015. She then serialized a short spinoff manga from February to March 2015. The original manga won the shōjo category of the 38th Kodansha Awards in 2014. M&C! is publishing House of the sun. in Indonesia.

M&C! also published Taamo's Rifle Girl (Rifle Shōjo) manga in 2010.

Merry Bad End compiles seven one-shot manga that Sakai had published in Shueisha's Ribon magazine from 2011 to 2013, in addition to its title story, which is a one-shot short story exclusive to the book. The title story centers on a middle-school girl named Mari, who has recently been uneasy since she will be separated from two close friends who are planning to go to a boarding school in high school. The book also contains the short stories "Saigo no Bansan," "Pri Pari," "2-ban Me ja Dame Nan desu ka?," Torikago Kyōshitsu," "Wakusei Honey," "Blindoll," and "FLAG."

Shueisha shipped the book in January 2014.

M&C! is also releasing Sakai's Sugar Soldier manga, and it shipped the fifth volume in September 2016. Sugar Soldier received a three-episode short television anime adaptation in January 2014, which aired as a segment in TV Tokyo's Oha-sta (Good Morning Star) kids variety program.

M&C! also released Sakai's Clematica Shoe Store manga in August 2016, and also released all volumes of her Peter Pan Syndrome and Rockin' Heaven manga.
