"School Zone" to run in Big Comic Superior on November 10

This year's 22nd issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine announced on Friday that Mengo Yokoyari (Scum's Wish) will publish a one-shot manga titled "School Zone" in the magazine's next issue on November 10. The one-shot will be Yosinari's forst work in the magazine.

The taglines in the magazine read, "Thinking of death— I am a second year middle school student" and "Daily life is dull and the world is corrupt. What is my reason for living? What is my reason for not dying?"

The one-shot commemorates the publication of the first and only compiled volume of Yoshinari's Mega Heart manga on November 27. The manga ran in Shogakukan's Hibana magazine and ended before the magazine ceased publication in August.

Yokoyari launched Scum's Wish in Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine in 2012, and ended it on March 25. A spinoff manga will launch next month. Crunchyroll published Scum's Wish digitally in English, and Yen Press is publishing the series in print in North America.

The manga inspired both a television anime series and a live-action series, which ran in parallel this past winter.
