Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC game debuts on Tuesday

Nintendo began streaming an English launch trailer for the Sonic Forces game on Monday.

Sega will release the game on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe on November 7. The PC version will be digital-only via Steam. Physical bonus editions for the three console versions will each include a controller skin and DLC costumes based on Sega and Atlus characters, including characters from Persona 5, Jet Set Radio, PuyoPuyo, Super Monkey Ball, and NiGHTS.

The game will ship for the three consoles in Japan on November 9.

The game allows players to play as Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, or a Custom Hero that players can create and customize. Players can customize the character's facial features, fur color, outfits, accessories, and equipment. The characters have their own unique abilities and come in different classes, including Wolf, Rabbit, Cat, Dog, Bear, Bird, and Hedgehog. The avatar will appear in cut scenes as designed by the player.

Sega released its Sonic Mania game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on August 15 in the West, and on August 16 in Japan.
