Shojo fantasy manga launches next July

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Thursday that it has licensed Keiko Ishihara's The Bride & the Exorcist Knight (Hanayome no Exorcist) manga. The first volume is slated for release on July 17, 2018.

The company will reveal new licenses every day this week. The Bride & the Exorcist Knight is the second of three license announcements for Thursday, after Soraho Ina's Fairy Tale Battle Royale.

Seven Seas describes The Bride & the Exorcist Knight:

Demons have been attracted to Anne her entire life. At age seventeen, she learns that a demon lord wants to marry her–and literally drag her into hell! Luckily, she's got a talented young exorcist to keep her safe from the powerful fiend. There's just one issue: the brash exorcist is in love with her, too.

Ishihara launched the manga in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine in January 2016 but it moved to LaLa DX in August of the same year before ending in June 2017. Hakusensha published the fourth and final compiled volume in October.

Viz Media released Ishihara's The Heiress and the Chauffeur manga in North America.
