Bandai Namco Reveals Soul Calibur VI Game for PS4, Xbox One, PC in 2018

Weapons-based 3D fighting game's previous main installment shipped in 2012

Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed a trailer for Soul Calibur VI, the newest installment in its Soul Calibur fighting game series, during The Game Awards 2017 event on Thursday. The game will ship for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2018 in Japan and North America. The trailer features the returning characters Mitsurugi and Sophitia.

The Soul Calibur series began with the Soul Blade game in 1995. The 3D fighter features characters who all utilize weapons in combat.

The previous main installment in the series, Soul Calibur V, shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
