Little Busters!, Little Witch Academia Writer Michiru Shimada Passes Away

Anime scriptwriter Michiru Shimada passed away on Friday due to an illness. She was 58.
Shimada's daughter announced her passing on her mother's Twitter account and said she had been ill since last year. She also thanked fans for their support over her mother's 38-year career.
Shimada worked on the script or was in charge of series composition for anime such as Little Busters!, Little Witch Academia, One Piece, Before Green Gables, Romeo and the Black Brothers, Dr. Slump, Rurouni Kenshin, Jewelpet Twinkle, and Urusei Yatsura.
