Minori Suzuki performs opening theme for January anime

The production committee for the television anime of Naru Narumi's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) manga began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Friday. The video previews that anime's main cast and Minori Suzuki's opening theme song "FEELING AROUND."

The show stars:

Ayana Taketatsu as Koizumi

Ayane Sakura as Yū Ōsawa

Akari Kitō as Misa Nakamura

Yumi Hara as Jun Takahashi

The series will premiere on January 4 at 8:00 p.m. on AT-X. It will also air the same night at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and 1:00 a.m. on BS-11, as well as the night of January 6 on MBS. A pre-screening of the first episode will take place in Tokyo on December 21.

Kenji Seto (both seasons of The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) is directing the series at Studio Gokumi (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) and AXsiZ (Wagamama High Spec, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn). Tatsuya Takahashi (Eromanga Sensei, And you thought there is never a girl online?) is handling the series composition, and Takuya Tani (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) is designing the characters.

Shiena Nishizawa is performing the ending theme song "Love Men Holic."

The gourmet comedy follows the daily life of Koizumi, a high school girl who looks like a cool beauty at first glance, but actually has an unexpected side of her that loves ramen.

Narumi launched the manga in Takeshobo's Manga Life Storia magazine in 2013, and Takeshobo published the fifth compiled book volume on March 30. The sixth volume will ship on January 30. The manga already inspired a live-action television series in 2015, followed by a New Year's Special in January 2016 and a New Year's Eve Special in December 2016.

The manga is also inspiring a smartphone game.
