New video streamed for upcoming visual novel

This year's February issue of Dengeki G's Magazine teased an anime adaptation of Visual Art's/Key's upcoming Summer Pockets Windows PC game on Wednesday. Visual Art's representative director Takahiro Baba said in a message that the project will "captivate you with various worldviews through the visual novel, anime, smartphone, and music."

Visual Art's also began streaming a teaser video for the game on Wednesday. Both the magazine and the video reveal that the game is slated for June 29, 2018.

The game takes place in a rural district of a certain isolated island, and the game tells the story of "one nostalgic summer." The four heroines are:

Shiroha Naruse, a girl who forgot her summer vacation.

Ao Sorakado, a girl who is pursuing the legends of the island.

Kamome Kushima, a high-class young woman who is searching for a pirate ship.

Tsumugi Wenders, a younger girl who is searching for herself.

Jun Maeda (Kanon, AIR, Clannad, Angel Beats!) is credited with the original concept. Na-Ga (Angel Beats!, Little Busters!, Charlotte), Tsubasu Izumi (Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka, Mashiroiro Symphony - The color of lovers), and Yūnon Nagayama (Angel Beats!) are credited with providing the original illustrations.

Yū Niijima (Koi x Shin Ai Kanojo, Majo Koi Nikki), Kai (Clannad, Rewrite, Harmonia), and Hasama (Tokyo Babel, Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi.) are writing the scenario. Maeda is composing the music with Shinji Orito (Angel Beats! Harmonia), Donmaru (planetarian, Little Busters!, Giniro, Haruka) and Tomohiro Takeshita (planetarian, Angel Beats!, Harmonia).
