Shizuki Fujisawa's Hatsu*Haru Manga Ends in 5 Chapters

Yen Press licensed manga about couple in unlikely relationship

The January issue of Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine revealed on December 13 that Shizuki Fujisawa's Hatsu*Haru manga will end in five chapters. If there are no delays, the manga will end in May.

The manga centers on Kai, a playboy around school, and Riko, a tomboy he has constantly had differences with, falling in love with each other for the first time. When Riko suffers heartbreak, Kai cheers her up, and they end up going out with each other. What should be a happy ending turns into more and more difficulties for the couple. Meanwhile, their friends who support their relationship also find romance.

Fujisawa launched the manga in Betsucomi in January 2014, and Shogakukan published the manga's 11th compiled book volume last September. The 12th volume is slated for February 26.

Yen Press licensed the manga, and will release the manga's first volume on June 19.
