Dragon Ball Z X Keeperz PC Browser Game Announced

posted on by Karen Ressler
Game features 4-vs-4 click battles

This year's March issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine announced on Saturday that Bandai Namco Online is developing a new Dragon Ball Z PC browser game titled Dragon Ball Z X Keeperz (pronounced Cross Keepers). The free-to-play game with in-game item purchases is slated for spring 2018.

The game will feature 4-vs-4 survival battles where the only controls involve clicking. The magazine describes an "energy accumulation" mechanic where a player presses a button to store energy to get stronger and unleash powerful attacks. The "X" in the title comes from the combination (cross) attacks the team members can unleash.

Players will get to team up with others to participate in area raids to defeat enemies. The game will have chat and item-sharing.

Psychic Lover will perform the game's theme song.

Disclosure: Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings Inc., is a non-controlling, minority shareholder in Anime News Network Inc.
