M&C! Licenses Because It's You, You Are My Future Manga

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Yui Harada's Because It's You (Kao ga Ii Kara Yurushichau), Lily Izuki's Eyes Tell Everything, Even I Love You (Me wa Kuchi Hodo ni Suki o Iu.), Yasuko's You Are My Future (Konna Mirai wa Kiitenai!!),

Because It's You centers on Niina, an idol otaku that moves from urban Chiba to rural Aichi, where idols don't do tours or events, and few television programs are aired. Just when she's feeling low for being in a place that has seemingly robbed her of her hobby, she runs into a man carrying tomatoes, and sporting idol-grade looks: Hiro, a teacher at a local school.

Harada published the manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine in 2016. Kodansha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.

M&C! previously published all two volumes of Harada's Boys Next Door (Otonari wa 1-Ken de 2-Do Oishii) manga.

Eyes Tell Everything, Even I Love You collects six short one-shot manga that Izuki published in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine. The title story centers on a high school girl named Satomi, who, when she looks up in class, always meets the eyes of her classmate Hiiragi.

Other short stories included in the book are "Kinmokusei ni, Namaiki" (Audacity in the Fragrant Olive), "Sono Saki wa, Kiss Desu ka?" (Beyond This is a Kiss?), "Wagamama o, Motto" (Be More Selfish), "Asa ni Kakureru" (Hiding in the Morning), and a side story to the title story that is exclusive to the book.

M&C! previously published Izuki's Lip and Shadow manga.

You Are My Future centers on Kayo, a high school girl who is one day suddenly visited by her future 30-year-old self. Her future self begins to tell her that even at that age, she is still unmarried, and Shinnosuke, her childhood friend who she has a crush on, is already married to another woman. She realizes that she has to make Shinnosuke fall for him now to avert the worst future possibility.

Yasuko launched the manga in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine in 2015, and Shogakukan published the manga's fifth compiled book volume in December.

M&C! previously published Yasuko's Home Sweet Home, Petit Flower (Petit Fleur), Falling for Tsubaki-chan (Tsubaki-chan no Nayamigoto), Fixing a Broken Heart (Shitsuren no Susume), Lover's Game (Kare Kano Gokko), Goodbye Sensei (Sayōnara Sensei), Anti Boys (VS Otoko no Ko), and Cherry is Everywhere (Cherry na Bokura).
