Tekken Smartphone Game Reveals Rodeo Video, Release Dates

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming a character trailer for the Tekken iOS and Android smartphone game on Wednesday. The video previews the exclusive character Rodeo. The company also announced the worldwide release dates for the game.
The game's launch dates are:
- February 1: Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia
- February 15: United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, Benelux, Singapore
- March 1: United States, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong
The game will feature more than 100 characters with unique fighting styles. Players will be able to upgrade their characters to unlock 20 special moves. The game's story mode will focus on Kazuya Mishima, and players will build teams to venture through a map-based campaign and uncover challenges and rewards. Dojo Challenge versus battles will let players fight against friends and other people online. Live events will offer new content daily, weekly, and monthly.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the game in August, and it is already available in Canada. The game has reached 1.5 million pre-registrations. All players will receive in-game rewards depending on how many people pre-register.
