Mizuka Yuzuhara Launches New Manga in April

Nekota no Koto ga Ki ni Natte Shikatanai.'s Ōuta also launches Bokura no Chronostasis manga in March

The March issue of Shueisha's Ribon magazine revealed on Friday that Mizuka Yuzuhara will launch a new manga in the magazine's May issue on April 3. The magazine noted that the manga will be a "new story."

In addition, the magazine also revealed that Ume Yuzuki and Rie Ōuta are launching new manga in the magazine's April issue on March 2. Yuzuki's manga is titled Ai to Mogumogu, and Ōuta's manga is titled Bokura no Chronostasis.

Yuzuhara's earlier Nanairo Kakumei (Seven-Colored Revolution; pictured right) manga centers around Nana, who constantly finds herself unable to refuse the wishes of her childhood friend Yuyu—such as styling her hair the same or carrying the same accessories—even if she hates it. She decides she wants to change her attitude and won't follow everything Yuyu says anymore.

Yuzuhara launched the manga in Ribon in August 2014, and ended it last August. Shueisha published the manga's eighth and final compiled book volume last September. The manga inspired a three-episode anime adaptation that ran within the children's television program Oha-Suta ("Good Morning Studio") on TV Tokyo in October 2015.

Ōuta's Nekota no Koto ga Ki ni Natte Shikatanai. (I'm So Interested in Nekota That I Can't Help Myself.) manga launched in Ribon in 2013, and ended in November 2016. Shueisha published the manga's 10th and final compiled book volume in February 2017. The manga inspired an event anime that screened at the Ribon Festa 2015 event.

Update 3/1: While the advertisement showed an image of Yuzuhara's Nanairo Kakumei manga, Yuzuhara described the manga as a new work. The manga that will launch in April, titled Koi Bakkari no Sekai de Watashi wa Kimi to, is not apparently tied to Nanairo Kakumei as previously reported.
