The official website for the Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match PlayStation 4 game began streaming a new promotional video on Wednesday. The video, narrated by character Yukari Akiyama, highlights the tanks of the University Selection Team.

The game will ship on February 22 in Japan. The Premium Edition of the game in Japan will bundle a Blu-ray Disc with video content (including the "Tank Trial!" picture drama and an "Anglerfish Team Roundtable Discussion" talk show video), a specially designed box, a "Dream Tank Book" special booklet, and a clear visual poster set for 11,100 yen (about US$98). The standard physical edition and digital version both retail for 7,600 yen (about US$69). The first copies of the game will include a download code for "rival school commanding officers Ooarai Girls High School uniform version," "Anglerfish Team Ooarai Girls High School winter uniform version," and "Alice Shimada Ooarai Girls High School uniform version."

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia will release the game on February 27 in Southeast Asia with English text and Japanese voice-over. The physical day-one premium release will bundle stickers and include the uniform DLC from the Japanese version, as well as a special decal set. The first digital copies will also include the uniforms and decal set.

The franchise is receiving a six-part finale anime project titled Girls und Panzer das Finale, and the first film opened in 59 Japanese theaters on December 9. As of January 18, the film has sold 425,236 tickets to earn 516,181,000 yen (US$4.66 million).
