Cute High Earth Defense Club Happy Kiss! Anime Reveals Video, Visual, Cast

The official website for the Binan Kōkō Chikyū Bōei-bu Happy Kiss! (Cute High Earth Defense Club Happy Kiss!) anime series revealed a new promotional video, a key visual, additional cast, theme songs, and broadcast details for the anime on Monday. The video previews the opening theme song "Zettai Saikō☆HAPPY KISS☆" (Absolute Ultimate Happiness☆HAPPY KISS☆) performed by the series' cast.
The new cast members include: (Note: Some character name spellings are not confirmed.)
Takuya Eguchi as Karurusu, prince of Honyaraland. He has a bright and optimistic personality. He received the life of King Kamopapa and arrived with Earth as his dominion. He says, "Umm, umm. What was it I should do next?"
Hikaru Midorikawa as Ata Ibusuki, a second-year student and student council president at Binan High School. He is serious and has excellent grades and a flawless appearance. He is revered in the school. But in reality, he puts in a great deal of effort to earn respect.
Kousuke Toriumi as Taiju Unazuki, a third-year student and student council vice president at Binan High School. He is attractive and has a natural appeal. With no effort or perseverance at all, he maintains a cool demeanor. No matter what he does, he seems cool. For some reason, he is affectionate toward Ibusuki.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Māsa Shirahone, a first-year student and student council secretary at Binan High School. He joins the student council because it is the only place where he fits in. His hobby is making sweets. He is a cute guy who smiles as he says "Everyone! Eat!" and distributes handmade sweets.
Hiroki Yasumoto as Rafunui, another prince of Honyaraland and Karurusu's younger brother. Like his brother, he received King Kamopapa's life and arrived with Earth as his domain.
In addition to the opening song, the anime's cast will perform the ending theme song "Warera Kedakaki Edelstein" (Our Noble Edelstein). The singles for both songs will ship on April 18.
The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and AT-X in April.
The show stars:
Ryōga Komata as Ryōma Kirishima, a second year at Binan High School. He seems like a stable person but is a pushover. His inability to say "no" lands him in the mysterious "Earth Defense Club." He has a teasable personality, so Wakura in particular will take advantage of this. He can't turn his back on his childhood friend Shuzenji.
Takahide Ishii as Nanao Wakura, a third year at Binan High School, and current president of the defense club. He is always smiling. For some reason, no one can say no to him. He may get stressed due to silence. He loves to tease Kirishima.
Rikuya Yasuda as Taishi Manza, a first year at Binan High School. He is a walking dictionary and font of wisdom and talks incessantly. He is jealous of his classmate Dōgo's recklessness, but wisdom always wins over.
Shouta Hayama as Ichiro Dōgo, a first year at Binan High School. He is hot-headed, reckless, and puts his all into everything. He is not very smart, but he gets by with his decisive personality.
Kurari Umadani is again credited with the original work. Shinji Takamatsu is again directing the series at Studio Comet, and he is also handling the series composition and serving as sound director. Chizuru Miyawaki is returning to design the characters (she was in charge of design concept for the Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! series), and Tomoko Miyakawa is adapting those designs for animation. yamazo is again composing the music at Pony Canyon.

The first Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! television anime season premiered in Japan in January 2015. Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Viewster streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Ponycan USA released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc combo packs. The second television anime, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE!, premiered in Japan in July 2016. Funimation and Crunchyroll both streamed the series as it aired in Japan. An original video anime project titled Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! opened in theaters on August 26. Crunchyroll began streaming the OVA in November. The OVA had been billed in July as the "series concluding chapter."
