Exclusive: Free! Take Your Marks Anime Film's English-Subtitled Clip Focuses on Rin's Surprise Party

FUNimation Entertainment shared an English-subtitled clip from the Free! -Take Your Marks- anime film with ANN. The clip features the members of the Iwatobi swimming club considering what to do for Rin's surprise goodbye party.
Funimation will screen the film in U.S. theaters for one night on March 14.
The film opened in Japan in October 2017.
The film is a sequel to the Free! -Timeless Medley- compilation films. The story takes place in March, with Haruka dealing with graduation from high school. The film depicts four stories set in the days of early spring, before the characters advance to the next starting blocks of their futures, and what lies ahead. The four stories center on Haruka looking for an apartment, the Samezuka team, the second-years of the Iwatobi team, and Rin's goodbye party before he goes to Australia.
Funimation began selling tickets for the movie last week.
The Free! franchise is inspiring a new television anime series this summer, as well as an "Episode 0" event screening that will screen in Japan on June 23.
