Anime Boston to Host Crayon Shin-Chan Director Yuji Muto

Anime Boston announced on Monday that it will host anime director Yūji Mutō at this year's convention. The event will be Muto's first U.S. convention appearance.
Muto is the third and longest-standing series director for the Crayon Shin-chan television anime, and has also directed several of the movies. His other directorial credits include Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time, Arcade Gamer Fubuki, Corrector Yui, Dash! Yonkurō, Green Green, and Haunted Junction.
Anime Boston will take place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts on March 30-April 1. The event's other guests include rock band FLOW, singer-songwriter Asaka, SUNRISE senior managing director Hideyuki Tomioka, screenwriter Katsuyuki Sumizawa, former Studio Ghibli production desk Hirokatsu Kihara, producer Michihiko Suwa, and composer Kaoru Wada.
