posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website of Bushiroad's Granadia Saga smartphone game announced on Thursday that the game will end service on April 30. The game will refund unused in-game currency to players, and will continue to add to the main story in two updates this month before it shuts down.
The game launched for iOS and Android on December 1.
The game features a fully voiced story that includes cast members such as Haruki Ishiya, Katsuyuki Konishi, Marina Inoue, Junichi Suwabe, Wataru Hatano, Sora Tokui, Atsushi Abe, Kana Ueda, and Reina Kondo.
Shinnosuke Hino (character designer for Spectral Force, Dragon Force, character illustrator for Guilty Gear XX) is the main character designer for the game. Takumi Miyajima (Tales of the Abyss, script for Fate/Zero anime) is in charge of the game's world, and he is the main scenario writer.
The fantasy simulation RPG focuses on a conflict between three countries. The game features turn-based battles with various classes of characters. Players are able to participate in large-scale battles with people around Japan through online play. The game also includes guild-versus-guild battles and an adventure mode.
Ami Sasahara launched a prologue manga for the game in Bushiroad's Monthly Bushiroad magazine last June. The second half of the prologue manga debuted last July.
