Kodansha announced on Sunday that a live-action series adaptation of Aki Amasawa's Love Rerun manga has been green-lit. The series will premiere on Yomiuri TV and NTV on April 5 at 11:59 p.m.
The manga centers on Sayaka Minami, a 30-year-old woman who has no relationship experience, but has had a crush on her childhood friend since their college days. However, on a night before they were supposed to go on a date, Sayaka wakes up in the house of her junior from work, and she has lost some of her memory.
The series stars:

Yūki Furukawa as Shōhei Machida, a salesman and Sayaka's colleague
Ryōhei Ōtani as Ryōsuke Sagisawa, Sayaka's childhood friend
Kyōhei Fujimura is directing the series, while Yūko Nagata and Rieko Ōbayashi are penning the scripts.
Amasawa launched the manga in Kodansha's Kiss magazine in 2014, and ended it in November 2015. Kodansha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.
