Manga about boy who sits next to beautiful girl in class launched in 2016

The official website of Hakusensha's Young Animal Arashi magazine revealed last Friday that Ryuta Amazume's Boku dake Shitteru Ichimiya-san (The Ichimiya-san Only I Know) manga will end in the magazine's next issue on April 6.

The manga centers on Tadatora Nishina, a boy who sits next to a girl named Misumi Ichimiya in class. With her glasses, slouch, and thick head of hair, Ichimiya seems plain to everyone. But Tadatora is the only one that notices how beautiful Ichimiya is as he looks at her during class.

Amazume launched the manga in Young Animal Arashi in November 2016. Hakusensha published the manga's second compiled book volume in December.

Amazume's Misoji Otome to Mote Hatachi manga ended last year. Amazume ended his Nana to Kaoru manga in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine in August 2016. He also ended the Ichikyū Kyūpeke series in June 2016.

Nana to Kaoru inspired an OVA and two live-action movies. Amazume wrote the spinoff manga series Nana to Kaoru: Black Label that ended in 2014.
