Girls und Panzer Gets New Smartphone Game

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Sunday that it is developing a new smartphone game based on the Girls und Panzer franchise titled Girls und Panzer: Atsumare! Minna no Senshadō (Gather! Everyone's Tankery). The game allows players to change the clothes of the characters, and engage in tank battles. The game will be free to play, but some items in game will cost extra. Bandai Namco Entertainment did not reveal a release date for the game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment recently released the Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match PlayStation 4 game on February 22. Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia released the game on February 27 in Southeast Asia with English text and Japanese voice-over.
The franchise is receiving a six-part finale anime project titled Girls und Panzer das Finale, and the first film opened in 59 Japanese theaters on December 9. As of January 18, the film has sold 425,236 tickets to earn 516,181,000 yen (US$4.66 million).
