This year's May issue of Kodansha's Morning Two magazine announced on Thursday that Masahiro Totsuka's Mannaka no Rikkun (Rikkun in the Middle) manga will get a television anime in 2019. The manga ended in the same issue.
The "home comedy" centers on the mischievous boy Rikkun and his eccentric family. Totsuka launched the manga in February 2017. The third compiled volume (pictured right) will ship on Friday. After the final chapter, the magazine asked readers to look forward to Totsuka's next work.
Totsuka and Saki Azumi's Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de Aru (My Boyfriend is an Idiot) inspired the Kare Baka: Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de R web anime in 2015.
