Spike Chunsoft's newly established North American subsidiary announced on Friday that it will release the Steins;Gate Elite, Zanki Zero: Last Beginning, and PixelJunk Monsters 2 in North America and Europe this year.

In addition, the company announced that its releases of 428: Shibuya Scramble and Fire Pro Wrestling World are slated for this summer. 428: Shibuya Scramble, which was previously slated for this spring, will launch physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 and on PC via Steam. Fire Pro Wrestling World already launched on Steam in December, and is slated for physical and digital release on PlayStation 4.

Spike Chunsoft will release Steins;Gate Elite physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, and on PC via Steam. The game will launch this year for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch platforms in Japan.

Steins;Gate Elite is a major update of the original Steins;Gate game from Mages with new elements. The game replaces scenes in the original visual novel with scenes from the anime adaptation. 5pb. Games previously streamed a commercial for the game last November that hinted that "world lines" that were not animated in the anime are "being experimented."

Set in Tokyo's Akihabara district, the original game followed Rintarō Okabe as he changes fate by travelling between different world lines. The game inspired a 2011 television anime as well as the Steins;Gate: The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu sequel, and the game franchise boasts over 1 million copies. The followup game Steins;Gate 0 is inspiring its own anime project.

Spike Chunsoft will release Zanki Zero: Last Beginning physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 and on PC via Steam. The game will get a release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan.

The game focuses on the last eight humans left alive, each one labelled with a different sin: police officer Minamo (pride), editor Haruto (sloth), rich young lady Yuma (gluttony), doctor Mamoru (greed), florist Rinko (lust), farmer Zen (wrath), artist Ryō (envy), and a girl named Sachika (original sin). They exist because their bodies are human clones. They will age and die withing 13 days, but they can be reborn.

The team working on the game previously developed the Danganronpa series, and includes Yoshinori Terasawa and Takayuki Sugawara, among others.

The PixelJunk Monsters 2 tower defense game, part of Q-Games' PixelJunk series, will launch digitally on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on May 25.
