2-part story to bundle with anime's DVD releases

The staff for Junji Ito "Collection", the television anime of manga by famed horror author Junji Ito, unveiled a promotional video for the two unaired episodes based on Ito's Tomie story on Sunday. The episodes will be included on the anime's second and third DVD sets on April 27 and May 25, respectively.

A 30-second version of the trailer aired on television, but the 45-second version above is uncut and does not use mosaics.

The anime premiered on January 5 and ran for 12 episodes on television. Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and Funimation is streaming an English dub.

The anime adapts stories from both the 11-volume Itō Junji Kessaku-shū (Junji Ito Masterpiece Collection) series and the Fragments of Horror book.

Shinobu Tagashira (Diabolik Lovers) is directing the anime and serving as the character designer at Studio DEEN. Kaoru Sawada (Diamond Daydreams) is writing the scripts. Hozumi Gōda (Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai) is serving as sound director and Yuuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) is composing the music.
