Nozomi Entertainment announced at the Anime Detour event on Saturday that it will release the Sweet Blue Flowers (Aoi Hana) anime on Blu-ray Disc. The company will release the series in July, and the release will feature Japanese audio and English subtitles.

Nozomi Entertainment describes the series:

Do You Remember Your First Love?
Fumi's always had trouble connecting with other people, but her life has been especially tumultuous as of late. After a decade apart, fortune reunites her with her childhood friend Akira, who's always held a special place in Fumi's heart. But even as they rediscover their friendship, with the start of the new school year, Fumi becomes enamored with a tall, charismatic girl named Sugimoto. Fumi soon finds herself playing a balancing act, between her feelings towards Akira and her newfound desire for Sugimoto.

The release marks the first time the series is getting a Blu-ray Disc release in North America. Right Stuf previously released the anime on DVD in 2013.

The 11-episode series premiered in July 2009. Kenichi Kasai (Bakuman, Honey and Clover, Love Stage!!) directed the series at J.C. Staff. The anime is based on Takako Shimura's eight-volume manga of the same name. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English after Digital Manga, Inc. and JManga previously released part of the series.

Right Stuf additionally announced more details on Saturday for its planned release of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime franchise. Right Stuf will release Mobile Suit Gundam 00 on Blu-ray Disc and DVD starting in July, and the release will feature English and Japanese audio and English subtitles.

The company also plans to release the Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer anime film, as well as Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition, a compilation of the television series that also includes new footage.

Additionally, Right Stuf plans to release a "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 10th Anniversary Ultra Edition Collection" set on September 4. The collection will include both seasons of the television series, the special edition OVAs, and the film.
