posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Concert takes place on April 27-28, delayed viewings set for May, June

Odex announced on Friday that it will hold a delayed viewing of the "HAKODATE UNIT CARNIVAL" concert of Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

The dates and locations for the delayed viewings are as follows:

  • GSC Mid Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) - May 26
  • GSC Paradigm JB (Johor Bahru, Malaysia) - May 26
  • Grand Indonesia (Jakarta, Indonesia) - June 2
  • SM Megamall (Manila, Philippines) - June 2
  • SM Mall of Asia (Manila, Philippines) - June 2

The concert will take place at the Hakodate Arena in Hakodate on April 27 and April 28. The Aqours sub-units CYaRon!, AZALEA, Guilty Kiss, and Saint Snow will participate in the concert.

Odex livescreened the group's first major concert, which took place in February 2017 at the Yokohama Arena, and also held a delayed screening of the group's "Aqours 2nd Love Live! HAPPY PARTY TRAIN TOUR" September 2017 concert in Indonesia last October.

The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. The anime's second season premiered in Japan last October.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." Fans chose the group's name Aqours by popular vote.

In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" that lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. The project inspired the first television anime season in 2013, and a second season followed in 2014. The Love Live! The School Idol Movie anime film then premiered in June 2015.
