Dungeon-crawling game set in Tokyo slated for summer, beta test launches on Thursday

DeNA and Spike Chunsoft announced a new smartphone rogue-like game titled Seikimatsu Days: Our Era's End for this summer. The Android version of the game will have a beta test that will launch on Thursday.

Spike Chunsoft is developing the game with the team that makes the company's Mystery Dungeon (Fushigi no Dungeon) series of rogue-likes. Like that series, and many other rogue-likes, the game is randomized, and players will have to start from the game's beginning if they are wiped out. In Seikimatsu Days: Our Era's End, players take up to four characters on dungeon-crawl adventures through Tokyo.

Spike Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series has expanded out into other franchises, including Pokémon, Dragon Quest, Shiren the Wanderer, Druaga, Etrian Odyssey, and Final Fantasy.
