Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple's Shun Matsuena Ends Alvadring Manga

Manga creator Shun Matsuena announced on Monday that he and Shū Matsuda will end their Tensō Kidō Alvadring manga in the 25th chapter on April 30.
The manga's story begins when Ayato Amano, a constantly-anxious man currently looking for a new job, is suddenly transported to space. Recognized for his skills in the online game "Alvadring," he now has to use those skills to fight in a war with real mecha.
Shogakukan previously streamed a promotional video for the manga in March 2017.
Matsuda and Matsuena launched Tensō Kidō Alvadring in Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits web manga site in 2016. Shogakukan published the manga's third compiled book volume on January 12.
Matsuena ended his Tokiwa Kitareri!! manga last June. He launched the series in Shonen Sunday in December 2014. Shogakukan published the manga's 13th and final compiled book volume last July. J.C. Staff produced an animated commercial for the manga, which streamed in January 2016.
Matsuena's Shijō Saikyō no Deshi Kenichi (KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple) manga ran in Shonen Sunday from 2002 to 2014. The manga inspired a television anime series that Funimation released in North America. The manga also inspired a series of original video anime episodes that eventually ran on Japanese television.
Matsuena launched a new spy action manga titled Kimi wa 008 (You Are 008) in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on February 21.
