Amazon Japan previously announced in 2016 that it will make the Happy Marriage!?, Kamen Rider Amazons, and Baby Steps shows available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.

The 13-episode first season of Kamen Rider Amazons debuted in April 2016 on Amazon Prime instant video in Japan, and streamed new episodes weekly. The series premiered on BS Asahi and Tokyo MX in July 2016. The second season debuted on Amazon Prime in April 2017. The series will also get two compilation films on May 5 and May 12, respectively. A new film titled Kamen Rider Amazons The Movie: Saigo no Shinpan will open in Japan on May 19.

The live-action drama series adaptation of Maki Enjōji's Happy Marriage!? manga premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in Japan in June 2016.

Director Kentaro Otani (co-director for the live-action Black Butler film) and scriptwriter Taeko Asano (Clover) reunited for the project after having previously worked together on the live-action NANA film.

Enjōji (Private Prince, Yoru Cafe) launched the manga in Shogakukan's Petit Comic magazine in 2009, and ended it in 2012. Shogakukan published 10 compiled book volumes for the series. Viz Media released all 10 volumes in North America from August 2013 to February 2015.
